pharmaphorum update – how can pharma drive broader healthcare change?

Posted 28th April 2010, 14:32:55

Dear members,

This week the lead article comes from Capgemini and is entitled “The future of the pharmaceutical industry”. Unfortunately, I’ll be the first to admit that neither Capgemini nor pharmaphorum actually has a crystal ball and it doesn’t actually tell you exactly where we will be in ten years time! However, it does raise some very interesting points about the way that pharma is now inextricably linked to the dramatically changing environment in which it operates. As new, more coordinated business models appear across providers, patients and pharma is it time for the industry to take a more active lead in shaping the change?
