Dear members,
This week pharmaphorum features the second part of Allan Showalter’s two part piece on patient compliance, or noncompliance as the issue is more appropriately defined! Here, he expands on the some of the key factors around compliance to challenge the way we look at it, which is perhaps the first step to finding more effective solutions. Also new on the site on Friday was the latest “What Are IDEAs Made Of”, or WAIMO, piece which this week looks at forward planning in late-stage clinical trials. Are we in such a rush to get the drug to market that we sometimes don’t stop to think about the right trial design?
