Welcome to the pharmaphorum forums!

As a brief introduction to the forum, please read the following.

Forum Etiquette:

In addition to ensuring you are clear on the website terms and conditions of use (you agree to these when you register); good forum etiquette would also suggest bearing the following in mind:

- Please be aware that blatant advertising, jobs posting or other forms of spam solicitation is against the site terms. Such posts will be removed and action taken against repeat offenders!

- Even where you are posting anonymously, please engage in discussion as if you were standing in front of other person. If you wouldn't say it to their face, you probably shouldn't say it at all.

- Be aware of how your message may come across. Text can be a poor medium to interpret emotions so consider how your post could be taken by others carefully and use emoticons where necessary. However a smiley should not be an excuse for being rude!

- Respect other people's opinions. It is fine to disagree (that is what constructive debate and pharmaphorum is all about) but there is very rarely an absolute right or wrong.

Forum Features:

Starting a new topic - you can start a new topic by selecting the appropriate forum category inserting your topic title and message and clicking on the Post Topic button.

Replying to a topic - click the reply button to take you down to the reply box, enter your reply and click the Post Reply button.

Quote someone - click on the Quote button and the poster's text will appear in the reply box at the bottom so you can quote them when you enter your post.

Report post – if you believe a post is in contradiction to the terms and conditions of this site then please click this button and provide a brief description. The post will be reported to a moderator who can look into it.

Private messaging – By clicking on the Message button beneath a user name you can send them a private message. Neither of you will be aware of your email address (unless you choose to share it in the body of your message) but the recipient will be aware of the sender’s username.

I hope the rest of it is fairly straightforward, so enjoy your discussions on pharmaphorum!
